Samal Blak will be designing “Les Mamelles de Tirésias” (Poulenc) directed by Ted Huffman at Aldeburgh Festival October 18-19 & 21 2012 and Festival d’Aix-en-Provence June 22-23 & 25 2013.
Samal Blak is designing Oscar Wilde´s The Importance of Being Earnest, that has been transformed into a musical. It opens on the 7th of December at the Riverside Studios, London.
It is directed by Iqbal Kahn and starring Gyles Brandreth as Lady Bracknell.

Samal Blak is designing a devised piece of theatre for very young children titled Cosmo. It is directed by Tony Graham and will premiere in Seoul, South Korea, 2012.
Samal Blak has designed the Jerwood Opera Writing Program led by director Stephen Langridge and writer Stephen Plaice.
The 10 short operas were performed at Aldebourgh Music and directed by Natalie Abrahami, Peter Cant, Tom Creed, Ted Huffmann and Alan McKendrick.
